Chief Executive Officer

Udo Waibel is CEO of Sierra Development LLC and also serves as Managing Director, Technology and Product Development at Riverside Micro-Cap Fund (RMCF). In this dual role he works across the entire portfolio of software-enabled companies within RMCF to advise them on product and technology related solutions as well as provide them with development resources through Sierra Development LLC.

Udo has over 30 years of experience in software engineering. He got his start at SAP in Germany. From there, he moved to the SF Bay area where he served in various roles of CTO and CPO, at HEAT Software, Sitecore and Oomnitza.

Udo joined Sierra Development as CEO in May 2024 with a primary focus of delivering high quality software across RMCF’s portfolio companies.

Chief Operations Officer

Eric is the Chief Operating Officer for Sierra Development LLC and has over 25 years software development and delivery experience. He has led platform modernization and process transformation initiatives across a portfolio of FinTech solutions and has extensive experience leading geographically disbursed, cross functional teams.

Chief Finance Officer

Jim has over 25 years of experience leading finance and accounting functions, strategic planning, and corporate development. Jim’s background has primarily focused on growing Software and SAAS companies through acquisitions and strategic partnerships. Acquiring and integrating over 35 transactions, Jim has demonstrated success with integrating people, processes, and technology in rapidly changing environments to drive sustainable growth, operational efficiencies and continuous improvements. Previous roles: CFO at Innovyze Inc., Director of Finance and Corporate Development at Autodesk, Inc., Vice President and Division CFO at Harland Financial Solutions, Inc., and Corporate Controller at Concentrex, Inc.
